MCP Server
You already study with an AI assistant. Connect it to the LongTerMemory MCP server and your cards, reviews and schedule come with you: what you review in the chat shows up in the app, and the other way round.
Included in the Basic and Pro packs, not in the free trial. See the plans
Saved in your projects, ready for your spaced-repetition reviews.
Answer in your own words: the assistant corrects you, right in the chat.
From your notes and documents, not from general knowledge.
Your progress and your hardest cards, and a review plan before the exam.
On claude.ai, no key needed: you log in with your LongTerMemory account.
https://api.longtermemory.com/mcpCreate a key in Profile Settings → AI assistants: it is shown only once, and the page gives you this command with your key already filled in. Then run it in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http longtermemory https://api.longtermemory.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"Start Claude Code and type /mcp: longtermemory should be listed as connected.
LongTerMemory connects through MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard. Apps that support remote MCP servers with a custom header may work too, but we have not tested them yet. Create a key as above, then use this address and header:
https://api.longtermemory.com/mcpAuthorization: Bearer YOUR_KEYJust talk normally. If the assistant does not use LongTerMemory, name it: "use LongTerMemory to...".
The assistant asks a question from your cards and you answer in your own words. It tells you what was right or missing and proposes a rating (Again, Hard, Good or Easy) with a short reason: you confirm it or change it. For multiple-choice questions it rates the answer directly. The rating decides when the card comes back, exactly as in the app.
For the more technical: what the server exposes through the Model Context Protocol.

No. AI assistants are included in the Basic and Pro packs. When a pack ends the assistant tells you that access has expired and your cards stay saved: renew and it works again, without connecting again.
It can see your projects, cards, review progress and the passages of your material that answer your question. It can add material and cards and record your reviews, within the limits of your plan. It cannot see your payments or account settings, and it cannot delete anything.
Apps usually ask you to allow each action the first time: if the request is not approved, nothing reaches LongTerMemory. Approve it in the chat and ask again.
Check that LongTerMemory is enabled in the app and restart it. With a key, make sure it was pasted whole, after "Bearer " with a space. A key stops working when it is deleted, after 180 days, or when you use "Sign Out All Devices": create a new one in Profile Settings.
In Profile Settings → AI assistants: disconnect the app or delete the key. "Sign Out All Devices" also disconnects every assistant.
